Am I Really Done?

Am I Really Done?

Am I Really Done?

Am I Really Done?

Am I Really Done? What a thoughtful question! Oh the early finisher, how we love to see their hand fly into the air said no teacher ever. They frantically wave it around and proudly announce “I’m Done!” To which we all know that there is so much on their paper that could use a little finessing.

Brianna always forgets her name. No matter how many times you remind her, shoot you may have even highlighted her paper just so it draws the eye but yup you can almost place a bet that it won’t be on there. Kayla is on the “I know it all” train and doesn’t think she needs to read all of those directions, they are just suggestions in her book!

Micah is on the rush to get it done because who knows there may be a “surprise if you finish first team”, and he wants to be captain! Jessica on the other hand lives by the seat of her pants and does just enough to pass. Last but never least is Joey, the one kido who goodness gracious his poor handwriting looks worse than a doctors!

We all have encountered these kids (by the way real kids names were not exploited in the above scenarios) I inserted my own children’s names lol #sorrynotsorry #calledout .

After the last parent conference I had with my son’s teacher in which she shared with me quite a few on the list from above I knew he needed a reminder. Know what he gets to bring tomorrow to sit on his desk? Yup, a freshly printed and laminated reminder card so that he can make sure he is doing his very best!

I even made a few extras because I am sure he isn’t the only one. I thought there might be a few of you out there that may also be in need of something like this.  I have added them to my resource library!

Don’t know what that is? You can check it out by clicking on the image below.

It is a super cool area for super cool teachers who teach super cool kids and LOVE freebies! I have just started adding items to it so while it seems small now watch out for new updates. It is my plan to add awesome free classroom resources that you can use. If you have an idea of something you would like send me an email and we can chat about it. I would love to be able to make your teaching day a little easier!
